Version 1 to be placed against the wall, version 2 freestanding with base in metal painted micaceous gray.Born in Milan in 1920, Magistretti enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan in 1939. Between 1943 and 1944 he moved to Switzerland, where he met Ernesto Nathan Rogers, a key influence on his education.He returned to Milan in 1945 where he graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico and immediately began his professional career.
