The top platform measures 27 inches high having an open framework with x-form stretchers on each side and finely proportioned tiers. Known as the Dayton Hall step ladder the (model #AC-2068) frame is heavy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The walnut and iron have an intentionally distressed patina to mimic age.
