A 19th century french stool with embroidered floral fabric. This stool has very old (possibly original) burlap fabric support structure (underneath). Slim and elegant cabriole legs taper into narrow but sturdy feet of medium color finish wood. This hand carved stool has original wood brackets underneath and brass tacks around the perimeter of the fabric. This delightful sized stool would add a touch of elegance to a bedroom or cozy den.
