During those years the world was a victim of the Cold War and afraid of the imminent nuclear catastrophe, but, despite the scary climate, the public found the strength to imagine a better future.Bold and graphic shapes linked to the fear of the atom were recurrent in the artistic expression of the time as a symbol of the common will to change people’s destiny and defeat the overwhelming sense of fear. The Limited Edition collection by Elena Salmistraro reflects these neo-tribal and post atomic symbols through precious inlays and innovative resin carvings on marble surfaces. The new Anodo synthesised the neo-tribal, post-atomic language in almost monochromatic furnishings, with calm and elegant nuances.
