This is an antique cello stool dating to the early 20th century. The stool is made of stained Beech wood and is very distinctive and unusual with a sloping seat and low curved back rest. The stool sits on tall turned legs which are supported by turned stretchers. The seat has been newly upholstered in a thick upholstery fabric from Warwick Fabrics Legacy Kelim range, this lovely warm fabric in muted shades is called 'Tabriz Document'. The wood has been wax polished. CONDITION In restored condition. Measurements height- 63cms to front of seat rising to 67cms at the back back rest height- 91cms seat width- 41cms seat depth- 39cms depth front to back- 43cms The measurements are taken at the widest points.
