Bauche stool model no. 19, designed by Charlotte Perriand and produced by Steph Simon in the 1950s. This design reflects Perriand's focus on essential forms and natural materials, continuing her exploration of mountain furniture. The solid ash frame is built around four round legs connected by crossbars, supporting a woven straw seat. The straw seat has been recently restored, ensuring a fresh presentation true to its original use. Produced by Maison Sentou, circa 1950 Bibliography: Jacques Barsac, Charlotte Perriand, Un art d'habiter, Éditions Norma, 2005, p. 275.
