Set of 5 capsule stools by owl dimensions: h 45 x w 38 x d 38 cm materials: solid wood the design of this series is open to being produced in various materials. As a base, we’ve chosen solid wood, lacquered mdf and alabaster, but the series lends itself to other requested materials. Capsules is a furniture series based on the evolution of the geometric form of a capsule, which consists of a cylinder with two hemispherical ends. Playing with the positive and negative space of its shape, the collection becomes an exploration of rounded and organic shapes. Each of our designs is handmade in our workshop. Owl is a design studio based in barcelona that designs and produces unique furniture and objects. Our designs are hand built in-house using high-quality materials from local suppliers. A practice that not only allows us to be conscious and sustainable, but also to create objects that stand the test of time.
