This Chinese garden stool has traditional characters as the focal point and a nice decorative border at the top and bottom. We have a similar stool with a dragon and phoenix but with a slightly different border pattern. This stool appears to be older with more of an exposed, unglazed bottom. The diameter of the seat or top is 12 inches. This stool is in very good vintage condition with the possibility of a minor scuff or two to the finish and naturally occurring imperfections from the firing process.
