Each piece features large faceted round elements that with its namesake reference the traditional cooper's trade of making barrels.The stool is shown in a bold palette of contrasting light and dark wood, which is natural white oak with torrefied oak. Torrefaction is a roasting process that produces the natural, darker color. Each contrasting board has a consistent dimensional width forming a strong visual thread, giving depth to the minimal forms and creating a somewhat camouflage effect when grouped together.
