Designed in Brooklyn by Italian-born architect Ale Preda for Miduny, this artisanal product is made in Italy by master craftsmen. The MiMi stool Ebonized Black model features a solid 13-ply furniture-grade birch plywood structure with a Sessile Oak veneer that undergoes an ebonizing process to create a gorgeous all-black matte finish with a slight 20% gloss finish. Each MiMi stool is hand-stamped with a unique serial number (on the underside) and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Like all our products, this item is efficiently packed for flat shipping inside a custom box and minimal assembly is required. Our custom joinery system allows legs to be pressure fitted in the notched top and secured with two bolts.
