Industrial Stool Attributed To Jan Van Der Togt For Tomado Holland, 1930s

Chairish

$313

This sturdy 50 cm high stool by Tomado features a heavy birch wood seat and a steel wired frame, both painted red. It was designed by Jan van der Togt, founder of Tomado Holland in the 1930s. In good condition considering its age, some black spots here and there on the brass, the red paint has scuff marks. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
