This vintage 'astro' vanity stool was by designed by VB Wilkins for G Plan during the 1960s. Produced in solid afromosia wood, the frame a has a beautiful ergonomic swooping curved design and a real Scandinavian influence that was typical at that time. With new woven jacquard fabric it is perfect for a vanity stool or perhaps, in the lounge as an extra seat or footstool. The original label is no longer present, we can however confirm their authenticity. The attribution is supported by archival documentation, period catalog references, and multiple documented examples of the same model offered by reputable dealers and auction houses. The design, construction details, dimensions, materials, and identifying characteristics are consistent with known examples produced by the attributed maker.
