Mid-Century Modern Cherry Stool, Czechoslovakia, 1960s

Chairish

$346

A mid-century stool crafted by ULUV in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s, made from solid cherry wood with beautifully tapered legs and a subtly sculpted seat. The visible round wooden plugs highlight the artisanal joinery typical of ULUV’s traditional craft workshops. This piece was carefully restored: the seat surface has been lightly sanded and revitalized with natural bio-oil, while the remaining parts were cleaned and oiled. Stable, sturdy, and full of character—an ideal accent for mid-century, rustic, or modern interiors. Condition: Good restored condition with age-appropriate wear. Dimensions (cm): 38 × 44 × 25 Dimensions (inches): Height: 15.0" Width: 17.3" Depth: 9.8" Material: Cherry wood Origin: Czechoslovakia, 1960s This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
