Completely restored raffia weaved ash and beech stool from ULUV, former Czechoslovakia in 60s. 17 meters of weaving was thoroughly washed out and is in very good condition with some light shading only from sun light. Frame was hand stripped of original coating, hand sanded, natural color no staining and coated with 8 layers of hard wax Osmo oil to semi gloss. Frame firm. Weaving, once seated on, will go down to frame level which supports the weight, it is comfortable but not advisable for heavy weight body types. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
