Pair of 19th century walnut stools from France with newly upholstered seats in linen, and finished with a single welt. The seats are supported on lovely walnut frames, which have wonderfully hand turned and carved reeded barley twist legs, joined by simple stretchers and a cross stretcher. The stool is raised on hand turned feet. This is a splendid pair of stools and the carving is fantastic!
