Quartus Iii Black Stool

This superb and entirely unique stool is a hymn to the natural beauty of wood and to the ennobling character of artisan woodworking processes. Resting on a discreet plinth base, the design is comprised of a bold parallelepiped volume minutely hand-carved from a Douglas fir stump to achieve its hypnotizing texture along the dyed-black sides. The seat is finished with a mocha-toned varnish.
