The design of the collection was driven by function and the minimal & new aesthetic. The playful and functional design looks great against period details as well as in a modern space, suitable for both residential and commercial environments. This set of color play stools are made with yellow powder-coated steel frames and a birch plywood seat which is lacquered in a contrasting bright yellow. The stools are available in a combination of over one hundred color ways; seven colors for the lacquered plywood seat and fifteen colors for the steel frame. The stools are also available in other quantities.The base structure is made in a powder-coated steel, which lends a fine line minimalism to the pieces. The seat is finished in a food safe satin lacquer which is skilfully applied onto a color matched undercoat leaving the grain of the birch plywood on show. Therefore, every single seat is beautifully different depending on the grain and character of the plywood underneath.
