Set of 2 low black tembo stool, note design studio dimensions: d 36 x h 46 cm materials: lacquered steel structure, solid wood (beech) and lacquered mdf, natural cork base. Available in colorful version and in 3 sizes: h46, h64, h76 cm. Tembo is a stool made of stacked pieces of wood, metal, and cork. This ‘modern totem’ has a playful and bulky aspect recalling children’s toys and african tam-tam (tembo means elephant foot in swahili). Note design studio is a collective of architects, graphic & product designers. Established in sweden in 2008. They presented their first furniture pieces in 2010. Their style combines the elegant simplicity of nordic design with a playful and almost naïve identity. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
