Seto Stool

Gessato

Inspired by Seto Ōhashi, Japan’s longest bridge, designer Keiji Takeuchi created the Seto Stool with an elegant and unusual form that references the bridge’s profile. At the same time, the design gives a nod to Japanese and Scandinavian design and craft traditions. The idiosyncratic H-structure combines two wide, angled legs with a connecting element that gently curves underneath the seat. Cut-outs on the two sides allow you to easily move the stool when needed. Crafted from high-quality materials, the Seto Stool features a solid wood base and a non-removable seat made of canvas with a leather cord. Felt glides ensure that the wood stool doesn’t scratch delicate floors and slides on smooth surfaces with ease when required.
