Smoke Grey Charles Ghost Stool Attributed To Philippe Starck For Kartell, Italy, 1990s

Chairish

$319

The Ghost stool is built from a single block of smoky grey polycarbonate which makes it indestructible and allows it to survive anywhere. It is suitable for both closed and open spaces and embraces all types of furniture and culture. A wonderful minimalistic stool that adapts to both indoor and outdoor settings. An evolution of iconic postmodern design, the Charles Ghost is based on the infamous Louis Ghost chair. Inspired by furniture of the 1800s, this glossy stool is the creation of superstar designer Philippe Starck combining an eclectic mix of classical profile, modern form, and futuristic construction to give a contemporary twist to traditional seating. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
