Rare Sculptural Stool “Sedes” by Ron van de Ven, 1998 — Numbered 1/15 Offered here is an exceptionally rare collector’s piece: the “Sedes” sculptural stool by Dutch artist and designer Ron van de Ven, created in 1998. This striking work blurs the line between furniture and sculpture, showcasing van de Ven’s unique approach to form, balance, and materiality. The stool is beautifully constructed from rich panga panga wood — an exotic African hardwood prized for its dramatic grain — paired with a bold, cast aluminum structure that acts as both support and visual statement.
