Japanese company Tosaryu was established in 1970. Based in a mountainous area of Kochi, Japan, Tosaryu specializes in products, furniture and home accessories crafted from felled Japanese cypress wood. This type of tree requires cutting after it reaches an age between 70 and 80 years, making all Tosaryu products eco-friendly and sustainable. Unusually, the company uses all the parts of the tree, including branches and leaves,  minimizing waste. Collaborating with local woodworkers, Tosaryu produces beautifully crafted objects and furniture that enhance the character of solid wood with their minimalist designs. The brand’s collection includes a wide range of items, from stools and bath mats to soap, aromatic bath flakes, trays, and incense sets.
