Lovely, unique American woven splint oak gathering basket with initialed lid. Made from oak splint with the lid attached primitively with twisted metal wire. MS painted in black on the lid. It does have charming wear consistent with age, use and life, pleas see photos. Structurally sound. Basket measures 15" by 14 1/2" by 18 1/2".
