An early American Queen Anne style antique pine blanket chest, likely Pennsylvanian. Rectangular top with molded edges opening to storage and till over dovetailed sides above two short drawers on bracket feet. Uniquely, front and back feet are also dovetailed. Front, top and back are made from a single wide board. Original wrought iron hinges and locking mechanism on the drawers. Front hardware appears to be a later addition. Shows nice age and patina. On newer casters (can be removed for more authentic look). Sturdy and complete.
