19th century hand carved oak blanket chest from England. The top has three panels, following down to a plain paneled back and sides. The front is the real star of this chest. It has three hand carved panels with geometric patterns, flanked by hand carved borders and front legs. The top lifts to reveal storage. These are great for the end of a bed, as a coffee table, or as a window seat.
