The 19th century dovetailed pine blanket chest has been stripped, patched and reimagined with inspiration from my favorite display at the @amnh in NYC. If you ever get a chance to visit NYC the @amnh is a must stop. It's an amazing place and I have countless fond memories from visits there with my family, with friends or even my job. The chest is over 150 years old and has been painstakingly restored to last another 150 years.
