Very rare, elaborately crafted chest bench. Extraordinary carvings in the Baroque Renaissance style. The armrests feature ram's heads. Contemporary original, with original patina, as found in a noble estate. In pleasingly good condition for its age (museum-quality). Good condition, normal light wear consistent with age, minor wood damage. The lid has been restored over the years and is slightly warped.
