This antique dome-top trunk, commonly referred to as a camelback or humpback chest, features embossed metal filigree panels and wood slats. Trunk on 4 original metal casters. The exterior is adorned with black-painted wood, polished metal hardware, and ornate brass locks (not operating). Thi Trunk is from the Victorian era dating from the 1870s to the 1890s. These items were used for travel during the late 19th century and are now popular as decorative accent and storage pieces Measure 29" in width, 18" in depth and and stand 21" tall.
