Storage trunk, originally a cabin trunk for transporting personal belongings during train or boat travel. This early 20th-century trunk is lightweight and easy to carry thanks to its two side handles and leather straps. The structure is made of coated canvas, reinforced with wooden strips and metal at the corners. The interior is lined with a clear, veined adhesive. It opens in two places. A legible railway transport label on one side indicates its passage through a Czechoslovakian station. The trunk is in its original condition, with a beautiful patinated brick-red color.
