Old box specially designed for tea, very precious at the start of the Victorian era. This mahogany box, locked, preserved the leaves and was exhibited in the living room of the English aristocrats. This copy has two compartments on the sides to differentiate green tea from black tea. In the center, a sugar container is decorated with elegant ornaments. This sarcophagus shape box is underlined by a small molding in the lower part and rests on four small feet "pancake". The lid with its frame looming in the alignment, includes around a slightly softened corbin's beak around. The top consists of four pyramidal parts overseen with a rectangle with small moldings. On the sides of this trunk, two turned buttons allow it to transport it. The closure is made by an original double hook lock with its original key and an input into a built -in brass diamond. The interior is composed on each side of two mahogany lockers rising by small shutters on brass hinges.
