A large pine wedding chest from 1718. The illustrations are traditional, featuring flowers and tulips and a village scene on the sides. The chest was part of a dowry package and would have been displayed in the clean room of the house with the dowry textiles. The chest has woodworm damage on the front. Treated for woodworm, no active woodworm.
