Superb and rare Italian Renaissance chest from the late 16th/early 17th century, circa 1600, in Lombardy walnut. A very beautiful chest with superb work on its front, featuring a coat of arms in the center, as well as numerous decorations and moldings. It rests on claw feet, which is unusual and gives it a lot of character. Original hinges and lock. The lid reveals an interior compartment. Superb quality walnut. Very beautiful top with a corbin beak and a superb patina. Superb patina and in magnificent condition.
