This free-standing piece of furniture, entirely in solid oak, features a sloping flap, finely molded on each side, opening on original iron hinges. The interior features four identical drawers, two of which are fitted with functional locks with keys and two with brass knobs only. This space is completed by five compartments and a large lower niche. The chest is locked by two original, functional double-hook locks with brass keys and oval escutcheons. This rare piece of furniture, assembled with dovetail joints, features a bronze handle on each side with a stop for easy transport.
