A small, rare, and highly sought-after louis vuitton steam trunk from the late 19th century, made of woven monogram canvas, bound in black metal with brass studs, reinforced with wooden slats, and featuring large black steel handles at each end. The handles are stamped louis vuitton. it has a warm and inviting appearance thanks to its woven canvas, which has acquired a patina over time. the main lock, made of solid brass, is stamped louis vuitton, as are the brass studs. The lock number is also stamped. This magnificent vuitton trunk is further adorned with hand-painted black and red stripes on the top. These details make this vuitton trunk truly unique. the interior is entirely original, including the padding. There are some stains, and it is not in perfect condition. Given its age, this is easily understood. A brand label on the inside of the cover reads "louis vuitton i+i. Rue scribe paris, 149 new bond style london." it is in generally good condition, but please note that the canvas shows slight wear and some discoloration here and there, as shown in the photo. This is what gives this magnificent vuitton trunk its unique character.
