swedish 19th century burr birch table box circa 1880. good quality storage box with working lock and key. veneered in burr birch with brass handle to the hinged lid. top opens to reveal a pine storage tray, which lifts to reveal further storage underneath. good rich golden colour. very minor losses to edges which is due to the burr. good quality item.
