Octagonal table cigarette box in 925/1000 sterling silver gold-plated with a fine hand-engraved design and two-colour fire-enamelled with other fine hand-engraved finishing touches on all sides. Size cm. 7 x 10 x 3. Weight g. 230. Designed by Franco Salimbeni in 1975 inspired by previous artefacts from the early 1900s in late Baroque style and produced at the Salimbeni company headquarters with manual workmanship by skilled artisan artists with a high-thickness plate suitable for withstanding numerous high-fire enamelling firings at around 750°<800° C.
