This superb Goyard trunk features the highly sought-after herringbone canvas and all the original solid brass hardware: brass nails, brass lock, and brass latches. The trunk boasts a beautiful honey color on the lozine trim. It is magnificent and possesses a rich patina. It also retains its original brass Goyard plaque on one side. The canvas is in good condition. The main lock and both latches are stamped Goyard. A French flag has been hand-painted on each side to personalize this magnificent piece and give it a special touch. The interior was completely refurbished some time ago, as was the padding under the lid, in a beautiful Goyard-colored linen. There is no odor inside, making it perfect for storage. This Goyard trunk is in very good condition considering its age, over 100 years old. It measures only 33 cm high. Please note that a custom-made removable wooden support has been made to increase its overall height from 33cm to 47cm, which is the perfect height for a coffee table or blanket chest at the foot of a bed.
