Beautiful Japanese tansu from the Meiji period, in original condition. Dimensions: height 100 cm, width 90.5 cm, depth 42 cm. This tansu has aged beautifully and shows subtle imperfections and old repairs that give the piece a unique character. It consists of two sections, joined together with metal brackets. The cabinet features a total of six drawers with metal handles and has a beautifully darkened wood finish. A unique interior piece, radiating the charm of the Meiji period.
