Art Nouveau Ironmongers Drawers Circa 1910 - Solid Pine and Larch drawers and frame - 54 drawers - 12 Shelf compartments on the lower section - Original paper drawer labels - Ornate cast brass with nickel plating handles - Salvaged from an ironmongers in the Saarland of Germany, the shop was originally built in 1907 - German ~ 1907 - 250cm long x 200cm tall x 40cm deep The drawers originally formed part of a large Ironmongers shop and was one of 4 sets of drawers used to store a huge variety of items along the back wall of the shop. Located in the Saarland region of Germany, the shop and full interior was built in 1907 and made by local carpenters using Pine & Larch from the surrounding forests of the southern Mosel valley. Unfortunately the shop closed after over 100 years of business, our team were then tasked with saving and painstakingly dismantling the entire shop interior. Condition Report The cabinet and top show signs of wear in the form of dents and patina, the cabinet has been given a coat of wax.
