It features a softwood body that can be disassembled using wedge joints, a removable profiled cornice, and a beautiful base. The cabinet boasts slanted, stepped pilasters, a curved front with two doors, and is veneered in walnut. It is further inlaid with other precious woods such as plum, maple, and walnut burl in a field and strapwork pattern. Hand-polished with shellac, it retains its original box lock.
