A chinoiserie cabinet on a carved cabriolet leg base with ball and claw feet. The base is very European looking. The cabinet is a subtle olive color with embossed naturalistic scenes on it. The front doors as well as the side panels have graceful scenes in muted tones of green, ochre, brown and black. The scenes depict trees, pagoda roofs and on the front door panels, two figures walking. The hardware is engraved brass (not polished) and all intact and includes a lock and key. The interior of the cabinet is a blank slate. It does have holes drilled on the sides and small brackets to hold shelves. It comes with 2 fitted wooden shelves that can be moved. The cabinet can be used for storage or it could become a bar cabinet. It has endless possibilities. The cabinet rests on the base and the two can be separated to move.
