Romantic pair of Venetian style commodes by Drexel Heritage. The sculptural lines with serpentine front, scalloped apron, and carved accents are beautifully decorated with a soft floral painted finish. There are four drawers in a 2 over 2 configuration. All of the drawers are fully lined in black velvet. The distressed cream finish and floral decoration is deeply routed in the 18th century Venetian style. Excellent preowned condition with some minor chipping that blends in with factory aesthetic.
