Great antique wooden trunk from the early 20th century. Some call this a candle box or blanket trunk. It has its original red wash finish which has aged to a rich brown color with a red tint. Inside is an unfinished wood with a side compartment for match strikers. The lock for a skeleton key has a star shape. Very clean. What a great addition to your Americana home!
