This substantial and charming cabinet is crafted from solid barn boards. Standing at approximately 59.75” tall, 47” wide, and 16⅜” deep, it’s a statement piece that combines functionality and primitive flair. The interior is smooth wood, with shelves intentionally split to function as plate shelves. The front edge of each shelf features cotton lace, adding a country touch. The interior back wall of the cabinet is fabric-lined, and the use of square nails in its construction reflects its age and craftsmanship, adding a layer of historical character and vintage provenance. The interior doors also feature square nails, likely used for hanging flowers, herbs for drying, or charming tea towels. Original hardware, including hasps/hinges and rotating wooden closure pieces (top and bottom), keep the doors secure.
