A fine English traveler's steamer trunk or coffer chest of tole or enameled tin from the 19th-century, featuring a faux-bois (or painted wood-grain) finish and brass latches, with side carrying handles for transport. The interior painted with a vibrant teal-blue. Trunks of this style were often used as travelling chests or for specific storage, such as silver or officer's regalia.
