A French 19th century small-sized side chest. This antique side chest/table from France features a subtly scalloped forward facing profile, with recessed side panels and fluted details along the front side posts. There is a single drawer, adorn with a simple brass pull knob at it's center, above a reeded tambour door which slides to the right. The profiled knees give way to gently tapered, square legs with a single fluted notch carved down the front pair. This 19th century French chest would make a perfect side table (and a great place to hide those remotes!), or perhaps at the end of a hall decorated with atop with a floral arrangement.
