Beautifully hand-carved Swat chest from the Swat Valley of Pakistan. We have had one at home for over 30 years and I had always thought they were Afghan, but recently I was corrected. I am sure someone out there will correct us once more, but what I am sure of, is that it is very old, totally original, in wonderful condition and just needs a good home. This trunk is of unusual proportions since it is by far the largest one I have ever seen.
