This magnificent Louis Vuitton trunk dates from around the 1920s. It stands out for its hand-stenciled Monogram canvas, its black “lozine” trim and black “LV” embossed trim, as well as its solid brass main lock and large leather side handles. Each brass stud is stamped “Louis Vuitton,” as is the lock. It features several travel tags as well as hand-painted red and white stable stripes on the sides, which lend this piece a great deal of character. The interior is clean and original. Only the lining under the lid was replaced a few years ago. This beautiful Vuitton trunk has also retained its original Vuitton label and serial number. It also comes with its fully functional key.
