A sculptural and subtly architectural cabinet designed by Giovanni Michelucci for Poltronova in the 1950s. Crafted in warm walnut, the piece is defined by its clean, confident lines and thoughtful detailing: four central drawers with circular recessed handles sit between twin doors, all raised above two deep lower drawers featuring a bold elliptical cut-out. The composition is quietly inventive—both symmetrical and surprising, functional yet full of personality. A fine example of Michelucci’s sensitivity to form and material, and of midcentury Italian design that bridged modernism and craft with elegance.
