Chinoiserie Tôle Large Tea Canisters with Chinese Figures, Chinese Calligraphy and a Chocolate Brown Ground,Circa 1840-1880The English Tôle octagonal tea canisters with covers highlighted in god have a front panel decorated with a different Chinese figures. The panels flanking have Chinese calligraphy and the remaining ones have a lovely and unusual chocolate-brown ground.
